The potential of students’ research activities in the formation of basic competencies of a future doctor in the process of teaching chemistry

The concepts of “research activity”, “educational and research activity”, “scientific research activity” are considered. The purpose of the work is to identify the potential of students' research activity, organized in the process of mastering the academic discipline “Chemistry”, in the formation of a number of competencies of the future doctor. The specifics of organizing different types of research activities of students when performing laboratory work and participating in the activities of the youth scientific circle on chemistry are shown. The positive effect of using tasks with a research context in the course of students' laboratory work, as well as two areas of activity of the scientific circle (experimental and abstract) on the formation and development of a number of competencies of the future doctor is revealed.
