Productive potential and realization of winter rapeseed productivity in Krasnodar region

In the account balance of oil crops sown area in Krasnodar region there exists a scientifically proved spare segment of about 100 thous. ha for such crop as rapeseed, which diversify the production of oil and have a high po-tential of productivity as compared with sunflower and soybean. Production trials of winter rapeseed varieties of VNIIMK breeding, carried out in different agro-climatic zones of Krasnodar region in 2006-2011 show, that the shortage in yield comes from the non-implementation of crop cultivation technology and makes up 50 %.
