Potential of contact seafare devices along the St. Petersburg aquatory

The article considers the issue of the effectiveness of organizing the improvement of embankments and their formation, as new points of attraction on the city map. It describes ways to increase human interaction with the urban water area and the use of embankment territories, not only as transit, but also revealing their potential as recreational, cultural, entertainment or leisure spaces. The key positive aspects achieved as a result of the application of the described methods and techniques were also noted. Conclusions are drawn about the relevance and effectiveness of the arrangement of embankments in the coastal territories of the St. Petersburg rivers, in particular, on the example of the Okhta embankment.
