The existing duality of the interpretation of the cultural industry as a purely economic category and the polar opposite of it outside the economic spiritual and creative, reflects the chaos of the practical side of its functioning. In this context, the cultural form appears as a kind of semantic complex (pattern), as a kind of information and semantic package, a frame with its own process. The streaming process of cultural consumption is two-way, not static, but an interactive exchange process, behind which there are certain patterns. The main author's patterns of the current state of the traditional culture of Russia are considered "value" and "knowledge", "creativity". In contrast to the mass culture of modern society, the author considers the traditional true culture based on the archetypes of culture. Critical understanding of the concept of culture in the aspect of modern cultural consumption reveals the transformation of the concept of culture itself. The dominant function of the modern complex of mass culture is the consumption of unified products, simulacra of culture. The main function of traditional true culture is the production of cultural meanings. As a result of the convergence of opposite patterns as cultural forms, a new type of cultural industry is being formed. The economic component should serve as a material basis for the creative component of the cultural industry, largely setting new goals for it and lifting it to a new round of the spiral of development - through chaos and denial. In the new type of cultural industry, economic factors are not in a priority position, namely, economic factors do not form the direction of the development of the cultural industry.
