Everyday life of convicts of the Aleksandrovsky Central Prison (late 19th - early 20th century)

The article is devoted to the everyday life of prisoners of the Aleksandrovsky Central Penal Prison of the late 19th - early 20th century. Based on various sources, the authors consistently examine the regime and established order of prison maintenance, the organization of life, food and free time of convicts. The paper studies everyday life of prisoners, the complex nature of their relationships with the administration and with each other.
