The article is devoted to the problem of improving the readiness of students directions of training 09.03.03 "Applied computer science" to industrial practice. Its relevance is determined by the partial loss of knowledge and skills of students required during the internship period, as a result of studying the core subjects in the earlier stages of learning and break the learning activities during school vacations and the objective necessity of the use of this knowledge during the internship period. The content of the readiness of students to production and pre-diploma practice defined by the author based on the requirements of the Federal state educational standard for this field of study. The author identified the components that determine the willingness of students to production practice: motivational (motivation to selfdevelopment and professional development; motivation for acquiring knowledge needed for performing professional activities); personal (responsibility, independence, activity); activity (skills needed for performing professional activities). The author proposed the use of the technology of concentrated training in the organization of the lessons during the week before practice to prepare students. After analyzing the basic models of concentrated training, the author has identified the organizational-methodical conditions for improving the readiness of students to production practice and developed a thematic curriculum which was implemented at the technical Institute (branch) of NEFU in Neryungri 2016. The developed course consisted of three blocks: "Psycho-pedagogical", "Systematization of the studied material", "Setup conference", each of which contributes to the successful completion of an internship. The result of training was the increase in students indicators of motivational, personal, activity-related component and consequently increasing the activity and initiative in the performance of tasks practice.
