Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the features of qualified medical care for patients with multitrauma, complex fractures of long tubular bones, including the humerus. The surgeon''s actions based on diagnosis, therapeutic and tactical schemes, and even more on intuition, often impede quick and optimal choice of rational surgical tactics. At the prehospital stage there have been a lack of transport immobilization, improper application of tourniquet, overdose of narcotic analgesics, refusal of preventive and local intra-wound administration of antibiotics, lack of information about the initiated treatment measures. To increase the effectiveness of therapy for patients with multitrauma, it is necessary to improve the quality of first aid in the prehospital stage, to open departments of multitrauma in large hospitals, to deliver victims of multitrauma quickly and to hospitalize them in resuscitation departments, to apply new modern diagnostic and treatment techniques.
