Improving the efficiency of transmission and distribution of electrical energy in the conditions of the North and the Arctic

This article discusses the principles of optimizing the topology of electrical networks in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the North-East of Russia. The use of optimization methods based on the principles of mathematical programming is proposed, which makes it possible to determine the optimal ways from the point of view of economic efficiency to improve the quality of electrical energy and reduce active power losses.
