The article is dedicated to the issue of improving the qualification of handicraft teachers in the conditions of transition to New Federal State Educational Standards (FSES) for General Education. The acquisition of ICT-competence for a handicraft teacher is an important professional component. The aim of the conducted research is to consider the possibilities of improving the ICT-competence of the handicraft teachers within the framework of qualification improvement courses. To achieve this goal, the main concepts on the research topic, the relevance of studying this problem, and the possibility of forming ICT-competence among the handicraft teachers within the framework of qualification improvement have been revealed. The article provides an example of teaching the module of«3D-modeling: prototyping and breadboarding». A training program of 3D-modeling forthe handicraft teachers is presented, consisting of the following stages: 3D-drawing with a pen, working in «Tinkercad» and «Compass» applications. The features of programs for 3D-modeling, their advantages and disadvantages, and examples of works performed by the handicraft teachers during qualification improvement courses are shown too.
