Increasing the tourist attractiveness of accommodation facilities of the municipality based on the formation of multifunctional complexes

The article deals with the problem of insufficient competitiveness and, as a consequence, the tourist attractiveness of accommodation facilities in small municipalities, using the example of the city of Murom. Accommodation facilities are poorly oriented towards revealing the cultural and historical potential of the local territory and uniformly ensuring the formation of a stable tourist flow. It is advantageous to transform individual accommodation facilities into a single multifunctional hotel complex of the municipality. A set of target indicators for the quality of hotel services has been formed and, on its basis, the competitiveness of a multifunctional complex in serving tourists has been substantiated. At the same time, the priority of the interests of socio-economic municipal development is observed.
