Increasing the level of self-identification among students through the use of metaphorical cards

The progress and results of an experimental study aimed at finding effective methods of motivating students to self-analysis and increasing the level of self-identity are described. Individual work with metaphorical maps and analysis of students' self-attitudes were used as a stimulus. A form for subjects to fill out and a structure for individual interviews were also developed. To record the ability to identify oneself with a certain social role or position, the “Who Am I?” test was used. It was concluded that the level of self-identification among students in the experimental group increased based on the results of working with metaphorical cards.
