Practical aspects of the implementation of investment protection and promotion agreements in Russia

The article deals with the problems of implementation of agreements on protection and encouragement of investments in Russia. It is noted that the regulations establish requirements for the conditions for concluding such agreements and determine the need to assess the estimated (marginal) cost of the infrastructure object being created during the technological and price audit of the investment project, however, there are problematic issues, the unresolved nature of which prevents investment in such projects. The authors conclude that it is necessary to systematize all provisions of the legislation in the field of these agreements and assess the economic effect of the project for the investor based on the current regulatory framework.
