Professional and career orientation are part of the proactive activities of universities aimed at ensuring the development of students’ professional identity and planning for the future. The article reveals the results of the analysis of the main possibilities of implementing the technology of a career elevator at a university. In particular, the work focuses on the practices and prospects of embedding various types of activities within the framework of the designated technology in the LMS (learning management system) of universities. The paper concludes that the integrated integration of career elevator elements into the university’s activities will reduce the impact of factors of low demand for university graduates in the labor market, increase the employment of graduates in the specialty as one of the indicators of the quality of university educational services.
