Practical aspects of development of a comprehensive applied research in politology (in respect with the theme "Political mechanisms of territorial administration in modern Russia")

The article is devoted to the analysis of specifics in drawing up a programme of comprehensive applied research in politology in respect with the theme "Political mechanisms of territorial administration in modern Russia" carried out within the federal special-purpose programme "Research and Teaching Staff of Innovative Russia" 2009—2013. Basic methods of research - content-analysis, cognitive mapping, expert poll, SWOT analysis are characterised in the context of certain methodologic objectives and tasks.
