Internship in Pskov State University as an effective form of pedagogical students training for professional activity

The article considers the role and meaning of internship in future teacher training. It presents practical aspects of academic training and internship of pedagogical students on 44.03.01 Pedagogical education and 44.03.05 Pedagogical education (with two training profiles) specialization; defines problems and reveals solution options in the conditions of competence approach in higher pedagogical education system. The meaning of concentrated and distributed form of internship combination in accordance with professional standards is defined. The author gives project tasks variants which stimulate students to acquire practical skills at the example of subject-content internships “The fundamentals of counselor activity”, “Educational work in school”. The conditions increasing the effectiveness of every internship program are defined.
