Legal aspects of natural catastrophe insurance

This paper deals with the general issue of natural catastrophes, the methods of monitoring climate changes, the influence of natural catastrophes on the insurance in 2013. In particular, the author has studied the implementation of the natural catastrophe insurance in the insurance policies of the domestic insurers. Fire insurance policies embrace a group of natural perils, while cover for any other risks is an object of special negotiation. The author points out the matter of the low representation of this type of insurance due to the poor education level of the policy holders and proposes that the insurance companies should offer a package policy for natural perils.
