The right to health care and medical assistance in Russian and foreign legislation

The article analyzes the right to health protection as one of the basic social human rights and as a universally recognized norm of international and Russian law. Proclaiming the right to health protection and medical care as one of the basic constitutional rights, the state is obliged to implement a set of measures to preserve and strengthen public health. The authors have considered domestic and foreign experience in the legal aspect of enshrining the right to health protection. It is noted that this right is ensured by guarantees established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
