The article is a review of the journal Russian-Byzantine Herald, no. 3 (6), 2022, issued by the St. Petersburg Theological Academy. This scholarly journal, founded in 2018, specializes in the research of Russian religious philosophy and reflects a connection of the Russian Orthodox Church to the Byzantine spiritual legacy in the context of Russian culture as a whole. The central place in the journal is traditionally allotted to the section of memorial dates, which in this case is devoted to the 100th death anniversary of the eminent Russian philosopher, journalist and lawyer Prince Evgeny N. Trubetskoy (1865-1920). Other scholarly articles cover a wide range of aspects of Russian culture and history related to religion. As usual, the issue ends with a survey of cultural events organized by the “Byzantine Cabinet”, responsible for the edition of this Theological Academy journal.
