Legal characteristics and types of mortgage agreement

This article is devoted to the study of the legal characteristics of the mortgage agreement as one of the most important legal instruments as a result of the reform of civil law. The article analyzes the concept of “mortgage agreement”, illustrates its features. The opinions of representatives of the legal doctrine regarding the legal nature of the analyzed agreement are examined. The general norms of civil law governing legal relations under a mortgage agreement are given. The essential conditions of the contract under study are displayed. The classification of the types of mortgage agreement is presented.
