Legal nature of the digital ruble in Russia

The article is devoted to the issue of legal regulation of a relatively new object of civil rights - the digital ruble. In 2023, the legislation was supplemented with new laws that made it possible to talk about the digital ruble on a legal level. The article examines the issue of the legal nature of the digital ruble, the reasons for its implementation, its relationship with established forms of national currency: cash and non-cash.
