Legal nature of indemnity

The article examines the legal nature of the institution of indemnity in Russian law. An analysis of indemnity as a tool for redistributing risks is conducted. The results of the study are conclusions about the existence of an ambiguous position regarding the definition of the legal nature of the institution in question both among scientists and law enforcement officers.
