Legal regulation of the use of police force by the military personnel of the chief directorate for special programs of the Russian Federation: the existing approach and its improvement

The results of the analysis of the Federal Law N 336-FZ dated July 14, 2022, and other normative legal acts, which assign the right of military personnel of the Chief Directorate for Special Programs of the Russian Federation (GUSP) to use physical force, special means and firearms are presented in the article. The authors come to the conclusion that the text of the mentioned Federal Law contains insufficient order and consistency that can cause certain difficulties in the interpretation and enforcement of certain rules governing the grounds and procedure for the use of physical force, special means and firearms.
