Regulation of Online Casino Advertising under Russian Law

This article examines the current legal regulation of online casino advertising in the Russian Federation. It notes that, despite targeted solutions, there is no direct criminal or administrative liability for those involved. It also concludes that the most effective mechanism for combating the spread of online casinos may be the prevention of illegal activity through public education, content labeling, and the use of technical and local legal measures to prevent such advertising on internet platforms.
