Legal experiment in legal science and practice

The paper considers the legal experiment as a method of legal science. The necessity of using this method in modern Russia is discussed. It takes into account the views of legal scholars who consider the experiment as one of the mechanisms for improving the effectiveness of legal regulation in an open and unstable system of public relations. Practical examples of applying legal experiments in real life are given.
