Legal status of military and civil administrations in the zone of a special military operation

The article deals with the issue of determining the legal status of military-civilian administrations in the zone of a special military operation. The author analyzes the reasons for the emergence of military-civilian administrations in the liberated territories of Ukraine. Attention is paid to the process of formation of the legal foundations for the activities of these institutions. The formation of a special position of the Kharkov military-civilian administration is noted. The author comes to the conclusion that the legal status of the military-civilian administrations in the zone of the special military operation has not been regulated at the moment, which necessitates more active work of the legislative bodies in this area.
