Legal aspects of strengthening the foundations of unity of command in the system of the civil service of the Russian empire in the middle of the XIX century

The article presents some issues of unity of command among Russian civil servants in the middle of the 19th century. Revealing the legal aspects of the regulation of the noted field of subordination relations, the authors focus on the importance of mutual observance by superiors and subordinates of the canons of unity of command.
