This article discusses the procedure of surrogate motherhood from the point of view of its legal regulation. A number of legal acts are given and a conclusion is made about the need to create a separate law, or a by-law on surrogate motherhood. Due to the fact that surrogate motherhood is a specific way of having children, there are many discussions about the moral and ethical aspect on this topic. Consideration of the moral and ethical aspect is also important for the legal regulation of surrogate motherhood, because when regulating family issues, the social component is important. The article discusses the problems that arise during the procedure of surrogate motherhood and suggests ways to solve them.
