Legal mechanisms ensuring the effective use of labor of elderly people in the Russian economy

The article deals with the possibility and necessity of using the labor of elderly people in the current state of the labor market in Russia. The labor market has a demand for qualified labor, which is in short supply today. Elderly people face difficulties in exercising their right to work. It is suggested to study both problems in conjunction and propose possible solutions. The emphasis is on the need to support the elderly as a vulnerable category of the population. Mechanisms such as flexible (non-standard) forms of employment, mentoring, indexation of pensions were considered, and a proposal was put forward to adopt a state program to stimulate the employment of elderly people.
