Legal mechanzies for the protection of human rights in conditions of international political instability

Human rights and freedoms are one of the most important components of a modern legal and democratic society. After the horrors of the Second World War, the states took the initiative to develop this institution and consolidate the provisions on the fundamental, inviolable rights and freedoms of the population in international treaties, as well as the creation of various kinds of organizations to ensure these rights are respected and their protection in case of violation. We in the article examined the influence of the current political situation on the European regional international mechanism for the protection of human rights and other freedoms.
