Legal basis for state control and supervision in the field of road safety

The article discusses the legal framework for state control and supervision in the field of road safety (hereinafter referred to as RTS). A systematization of the relevant legal acts is proposed. Complex issues related to the content of legal acts in force in the field of traffic safety are considered. They include vague formulations related to the identification of control and supervision, as well as a significant number of regulatory legal acts aimed at regulating state control (supervision) in the field of traffic safety. It is concluded that the vastness of the legal support of the type of supervision under study is related to its subject, which can be defined as complex, including various branches of legal relations and activities involved in traffic safety.
