Precedent phenomena traced back to the German and French cultures in the contemporary Russian press

On the basis of the comparative analysis it was determined that for the contemporary Russian press it is characteristic to use the precedent phenomena originating in the German culture and referring to XX century, and the precedent phenomena originating in the French culture and referring to the XIX century. The number of the German precedent phenomena referring to the period before XVIII century and that of the French arising from the time before XVII century is substantially lower than the number of the precedent phenomena referring to each of the following periods.
