Predictor variables of symptomatic alcoholization in patients with depression

An attempt was made to identify motivation of consumption of alcohol in depression patients with symptomatic alcoholization. Timely detection of motives of alcohol consumption within the framework of non-psychotic depressive disorder allows preventing the development of symptomatic alcoholization and increasing patient compliance. Conducting educational seminars on rational and effective use of psychotropic drugs for physicians of all specialties and patients will increase the continuity of care of depression in patients with symptomatic alcoholization.
