Improving the mechanism of intellectual property protection during the pre-election campaign

The article is devoted to the issues of intellectual property protection during the pre-election campaign. Electoral offenses related to the violation of copyright and intellectual property rights occupy a significant share among the offenses committed during the period of election campaigning. In connection with the existing problems, the author draws attention to the improvement and systematization of legislation in this area as an effective mechanism to counteract the violation of intellectual rights of candidates. Research and proposals can be used in the practical activities of authorities in the formation of mechanisms and methods of protection against offenses in this area, to contribute to improving the legal literacy of all participants in the electoral process. Research in this area allows for amendments and additions to civil law and legislation in the field of intellectual property protection.
