The idea of beauty in linguistic consciousness of Siberian Krasnoyarsk citizens

The article is devoted to the problem of describing the regional linguistic consciousness of Russians in Yenisei Siberia. It deals with a fragment of linguistic consciousness reflecting the values of aesthetics on the basis of the data of a free associative experiment, the informants for which were residents of the city of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. When analyzing the received wordreactions, we take into account the content of the answers, the frequency of reaction-associations, the paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations of reaction-associations, the age of the subjects. The purpose of this work is to identify specific features in the ideas of Siberians about Beauty. The study was carried out by analyzing the associations obtained on the basis of the dynamic relationship between the stimulus and the associate (according to V.A. Pishchal’nikova). The analysis revealed that the idea of Beauty in the linguistic consciousness of all age groups of Siberian Krasnoyarsk citizens is associated with a positive view of the time and location of the native speaker and the object being identified.
