The idea of the system of life values of cadets as the main pedagogical orientation of educational work of the higher educational institution of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs

The authors consider the results of the research of individual value orientations of the cadets of the OmskAcademy of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs. Using the diagnostic method of M. Rokich they reveal the groups of dominating values-aims and values-means. The authors compare the indices of first-year students and graduates with the level the teachers would like to see and they also give recommendations concerning the organization of educational work.
