Representation of honor in the Russian Chinese language picture of the world (on the example of poll of the Chinese students)

In recent years, many specialists on multidisciplinary problems paid more attention to the problems of language and culture relations, and to their complementary roles in modern society, to the reflection of cultural values "our" and "foreign" world picture in the language. The same concept has different forms of linguistic expression, in different languages more or less complete. In article the concept of honor as an important component of culture of Russia and China is considered. Specifics of this concept come to light on the basis of poll of students of the Xian oil university, Institute of foreign languages. Semantic content of reactions of the interviewed students shows that in the Chinese language picture of the world a concept honor is interpreted differently, than in the Russian. Honor in the Chinese culture is the main sign of a concept "the respectful relation to the subject carrier of quality of honor". The observations received as a result of poll help to make cognitive signs of ideas of carriers of Chinese of honor.
