Continuity in economic education at school

The article analyzes State Educational Standards in Economics as a subject of comprehensive schools. The results show that the standards available are far from perfect and are insufficient for formation of systemic economic knowledge. Ill-structured courses lacking the necessary methods of teaching fail to give systematic knowledge and limit themselves to self-repetition on the same theoretical level.
