The article discusses the relevance of the continuity in the artistic education of children of preschool and primary school age through the use of regionally-cultural component. According to the results of the study highlighted the pedagogical conditions aimed at increasing the level of formation of the artistic culture of the child's personality in a continuous system of "pre-school educational institution - an elementary school."
