It analyzes the role of digital educational technologies in transforming traditional learning and shaping a new educational environment. The research aims to analyze the advantages and challenges of implementing MOOCs and online courses in the modern educational system, as well as to determine their role in transforming the educational process in the context of digitalization. The study is based on domestic and international scientific publications, articles from peer-reviewed journals, and analytical reviews of educational platforms and reports dedicated to the development of digital education. A comparative analytical method was used, which made it possible to compare the features of online course implementation in different educational systems and to identify common trends and differences. MOOCs and online courses contribute to increasing learning flexibility, developing students’ independent learning skills, and providing access to educational resources from leading universities around the world. The main advantages and challenges of digital forms of learning are considered, including scalability, variability of educational content, and the possibility of self-paced learning. A comprehensive approach to integrating MOOCs into the educational process is emphasized, including methodological training for teachers, development of digital infrastructure, and improvement of educational platforms.
