Teaching the newest history of Russia in the context of ensuring national security

The article is devoted to the consideration of historical education as a significant factor in ensuring the national security of Russia. To achieve this goal, the author solves the following tasks: 1) determine the place of historical education in the system of ensuring national security; 2) analyze the social and educational function of historical education; 3) to assess some of the current changes in approaches to the implementation of curricula in Russian history.
