The article examines modern approaches to teaching the translation of political discourse from Chinese into Russian in educational institutions in China. The main focus is on strategic methods and practical aspects used in the learning process, which includes an analysis of the specifics of political vocabulary and semantics. The author explores various approaches to the formation of competencies among translation students, focusing on important issues such as the adaptation of translation strategies to unique cultural and linguistic contexts. The article also includes an analysis of successful teaching practices and examples of the implementation of translation methods that contribute to a deeper understanding of the translation of political discourse from Chinese into Russian. As a result of the study, recommendations are offered for teachers and educational institutions on optimizing translation courses, which can contribute to the formation of highly qualified specialists who are ready to effectively communicate in the political sphere between Russia and China.
