Basing on the practical research the authors reveal the problems of studying cadets’ perception and assessment of a teacher during their studies. The article comprises the results of examining teacher’s proficiency from perspective of higher school teacher’s pedagogical culture. The components of pedagogical proficiency and their content aspects are under study.
