The article is devoted to the study of the life and written legacy of the teachers of Taurida Theological Seminary, who were glorified as part of the Assembly of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church: Hieromartyrs Bishop Laurentius (Knyazev) of Balakhna, Archpriests Nikolai Mezentsev, Mikhail Bogoslovsky, Myron Rzepik and Martyr Dimitri Spiridonov. As a rule, in Russian historiography, attention is paid to the description of their life and martyrdom. However, the issue of studying their written legacy remains on the sidelines. For the first time the study presents and analyzes a collection of works by the confessors and new martyrs of the Russian Church who taught at Taurida Theological Seminary, providing little- known facts about their lives and ministry. The article is based on documents from the Russian State Historical Archive and the State Archive of the Republic of Crimea, as well as materials from “Tauride Diocesan Statements” and “Tauride Church and Public Bulletin” from 1892 to 1918.
