Middle Holocene reptile and mammal bone remnants have been studied from the deposits of the Strelnenskaya cave (Zhigulyovsky nature reserve). The age of the deposits was determined according to the small mammals fauna. Findings of the residual of stepperunner Eremias arguta, diced snake Natrix tessellata and Renard's viper Vipera renardi in the Strelnenskaya cave testify for hypotheses, suggested by the authors, based on the findings in the cave of Vovanov (Yakovlev et al., 2013).
