The presumption of innocence protects the freedom and human dignity of any person charged by the state with criminal behavior. A person charged with a criminal offense faces serious social and personal consequences, including potential loss of physical freedom, social stigma and social stigma, and other social, psychological and economic problems. The author of this article considers how the presumption of innocence is violated by the media, and recommends possible solutions to this problem.
