Cubist tecnniques in the composition of the novel "The 42nd parallel" by John Dos Passos

The article is devoted to analysis of the composition of the novel "The 42nd Parallel" in the context of influence of cubism on Dos Passos's experimental literary works. Research of the composition demonstrates the different ways of embodiment of cubistic esthetics and techniques in the novel. The special attention is paid to collage as the founding principle of the composition in the section "Newsreel".
