The article reveals the relevance of morphemic and word-formation work in primary grades, indicates the causes of difficulties in the assimilation of morphemic and word-formation material by younger schoolchildren, briefly reveals the stages of teaching younger schoolchildren word-formation analysis, provides examples of word-formation exercises that contribute to the mastery of word-formation analysis, including exercises based on the material of the word-formation nest (its fragment) and using word-formation the dictionary.
