The temporary transition to distance learning has encouraged the search for new approaches to organizing the interaction with students at creative universities. The staging of theoretical material of lecture courses can become a new method of educational and creative work with students online. Using the example of the educational process in the direction of the bachelor's degree “Social and cultural activity”, the article examines the technology of preparing and conducting a theatrical lecture and identifies the features of interactive work with students. The paper provides various themes of creative assignments for the study of theatrical lectures, options of solving a script-directing plot and using the means of artistic expression of the script. A theatrical lecture as an innovative form of organizing classes is an actual platform for realizing the creative potential of students and the formation of competencies necessary for future professional activities.
