Application of betulin under experimental conditions with mycoplasmosis, mycoplasmosis-associated infections, porcine circovirusand erysipelas in pigs

The experience of sows and piglets of Kam-Kurskoye CJSC in the Muromtsevsky District of the Omsk Region showed that the use of the Betulin-E preparation for mycoplasmosis and mycoplasma-associated infection contributes to the recovery of 60 and 80% of animals, and in combination with it application with a complex antimicrobial drug "Levotetrasulfin-PEG" enhances the therapeutic properties of the latter by 40 and 20%, respectively, which allowed earlier to stop the infectious process in the animals of experimental groups and ensured their complete clinical and microbiological recovery. The preparation "Betulin-EPG" increases the level of postvaccinal antibodies against cirkovirosis and pigs erysipies 4 times, increases the functional activity of immunocompetent blood cells, primarily due to the activation of neutrophils.
