The issues of organizing and improving the structure of the education system based on the use of digital technologies, which provide distance learning for students, are considered. It is noted that the quality of training of specialists is directly related to the content of education and the technology of implementation of educational programs that allow the graduate to engage in the performance of his immediate duties without additional training and adaptation to the conditions of real production. Created according to the model of an open university, designed for a mass audience, they were considered as a kind of "Ford" enterprises, ie. economic organizations that profit from the expansion of the scale of conveyor production and produce standard products for the standard consumer.
